Travel InsuranceIt is highly recommended for an NTSC member to purchase travel insurance, including trip interruption and travel medical insurance, either through one of our tour operators or another 3rd party provider. We’d hate to see your hard-earned money go to waste if a trip is cancelled, something unexpected comes up and you aren’t able to attend or really worst case, you're injured on the trip. NEW THIS SEASON - Proof of travel medical insurance coverage is required for USA and Europe trips. If you choose not to purchase any travel insurance, the tour operator, airlines, resorts and/or NTSC have no obligation to provide refunds or cover extra costs you may incur. Please protect yourself! The insurance premium is due at or near the time of deposit (air trips) or full trip payment (bus trips). A package plan can be purchased through Skican or Voyages Gendron for air trips or Express Tours or Expedia for bus trips. You may also purchase insurance through the provider of your choice. |
CANCELLATION And RefundsWhen you sign up for a Travel trip, you are buying from an independent tour operator (not NTSC), who is subject to third party regulations and government travel advisories that prescribe when insurance and refunds are issued. NTSC cannot cancel trips as it may prevent members from obtaining refunds that they would otherwise be eligible to receive. Depending on the situation for cancellation, as well as your personal insurance coverage purchased, refunds may or may not be reimbursed if a trip is interrupted or cancelled. Deposit, insurance premium, and NTSC pre-registration payment are non-refundable. Refer to each Tour Operator link below for timelines and additional cancellation charges that will occur. |
