By registering for a trip, you agree to the trip waiver and travel code of conduct and are waiving certain legal rights. As a member, you also agree to follow the NTSC Code of Conduct and Waiver.
We highly recommend you buy travel insurance, either through the tour operator or separately. If you choose not to purchase travel insurance, be aware tour operators, airlines, resorts and NTSC have no obligation to provide refunds if you have to cancel or interrupt your trip. If you are injured on a trip, extras fees to change flights and other charges are your responsibility. Please protect yourself!

COVID-19 has brought uncertainties for our travels. It is highly recommended for an NTSC member to purchase travel insurance, either through one of our tour operators or another 3rd party provider. We’d hate to see your hard-earned money go to waste if a trip is cancelled, something unexpected comes up and you aren’t able to attend or really worst case, you're injured on the trip.
If you choose not to purchase any travel insurance, the tour operator, airlines, resorts and/or NTSC have no obligation to provide refunds or cover extra costs you may incur. Please protect yourself!
The insurance premium is due with the deposit (air trips) or full trip payment (bus trips). A package plan can be purchased through Merit Travel, Skican or Voyages Gendron (air trips) or Express Tours (bus trips).
See insurance options for more information.
Refunds and Cancellation
When you sign up for a Travel trip, you are buying from an independent tour operator (not NTSC), who is subject to third party regulations and government travel advisories that prescribe when insurance and refunds are issued. NTSC cannot cancel trips as it may prevent members from obtaining refunds that they would otherwise be eligible to receive.
Depending on the situation for cancellation, as well as your personal insurance coverage purchased, refunds may or may not be reimbursed if a trip is interrupted or cancelled.
Deposit, insurance premium, and NTSC pre-registration payment are non-refundable. Refer to each Tour Operator link below for timelines and additional cancellation charges that will occur.
While NTSC is not requiring proof of vaccination to participate in Club activities this season, all Travel trip participants will need to follow vaccination requirements and rules for trip destinations. If you register for a trip, you are responsible for ensuring you are compliant with all destination vaccination, testing and documentation requirements. These requirements could change at any time.,
Bus safety protocols such as requiring face masks, not allowing food or alcohol, assigning seats, etc. will be determined closer to the start of Travel trips. By registering for a trip, you are agreeing to abide by the protocols in place at the time of your trip.
See COVID-19 Operations Framework for further information.
