Located outside the former gold mining town of Rossland, BC, Red is among the oldest ski resorts in North America -- and now one of the best. The resort is known to cater primarily to intermediate to advanced skiers and riders, particularly backcountry and powder lovers -- 17% beginner, 34% intermediate, 23% advanced (black) and 26% expert (double black).

Red Mountain receives 7.6 meters of annual snowfall and offers the amazing feature of in-bounds cat-skiing , as well as full days with Big Red Cats -- which allow you to easily explore the diverse off-piste terrain available for a full day.

In North America, Red is ranked #1 in most acres per skier and top 10 in skiable acres (3,850 acres). 2,919 vertical feet are serviced by 8 lifts to access 119 named runs over 5 peaks. Mountain Stats
