SilverStar is the perfect destination for all our NTSC members. Whether you’re a downhill skier, boarder or nordic skier, it will deliver.

The resort boasts 7 metres or 23 feet of annual snowfall and it's known for having great early season snow. All this makes for incredible skiing and riding. Combined with a lack of crowds you will find yourself cruising down wide open trails, charging down double blacks or gliding through the glades. It's a feeling of escape where you think you have the whole mountain to yourself.

Nordic skiing at SilverStar Resort in the heart of North Okanagan has got to be the best in Canada! There are 55 kms of trails – classic and skate – for all levels of difficulty. And, it's connected to another 50 km of trails at Sovereign Lake Nordic Centre in SilverStar Provincial Park.

The resort village is compact, with one main street which makes it delightfully walkable for shopping or browsing, and of course, for dining. There are several choices of pub fare from the Red Antler, Long John’s and Den Bar and Grill, to more upscale dining at the Black Pine or D’Argento, not to mention the take-out pizza joint Pizza Grotto and the Bugaboos Bakery. And we can’t overlook the fact that we are in the Okanagan which is the site of many fabulous wineries.

ACCOMMODATIONS:

Chilcoot Lodge and Vance Creek  is located in the SilverStar Village. This ski-in/ski-out property features interior heated ski lockers and two outdoor hot tubs .

Hotel rooms hotel rooms include a bar fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. 

One Bedroom Suites at Chilcoot Lodge include one queen bed and a set of single/single bunk beds located in an alcove in the bedroom. Rooms feature a full kitchen, dining table and living area with a queen hide-a-bed and gas fireplace.

One Bedroom Suites at Vance Creek include two queen beds and one sleeper sofa in the living room. Rooms feature a full bathroom and a full kitchen. The dining area consists of counter with 3 bar stools (no table).

• To NTSC: Non-refundable Registration Fee $70
• To Tour Operator: Base Price + any additions or deductions
• To Tour Operator: Non-refundable $500 Deposit due upon registration; Final balance due November 30, 2023
• Price based on minimum of 25 trip participants. Base price will increase if fewer than 25 participants.

ADDITIONAL FEES / CANCELLATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Changes and cancellations are subject to fees and must be arranged through the NTSC Travel Committee only.

Refund payments may not be made until Summer 2024. For any refunds resulting from a group cancellation, participants will receive refunds, net of non-refundable fees, on their credit card.

TRAVEL INSURANCE:

NTSC and the Tour Operator strongly recommend you purchase travel insurance to protect against financial losses/penalties in the event you are forced to cancel or interrupt your vacation. Trip participants who do not purchase travel insurance will be required to confirm they have other coverage or understand they are responsible to any costs associated with trip cancellation/interruption.

Comprehensive Insurance coverage can also be added to a newly purchased policy. The premium is due with the deposit.
