For those of you that are new to the club, or for those of you that have yet to buy your first equipment, how do you know what to get, what is right for you and where to go to get it?
Are you unsure if you should rent or buy? Are you ready to invest in your own equipment or ready to graduate from beginner equipment? What will new equipment do for your enjoyment of the sport?
On November 5, a small group of directors/instructors will be gathering at The Sign of the Skier in order to help guide you in this process. The staff there will be giving out information about boots, skis and soft goods (coats, pants, etc.) The club will also do a demo of registering for a day trip, the website, and other things that you might want to know.
There will be 4 different stations set up where you can learn what you need/want to know in helpful 30 minute sessions.
Our Kick-off event was about fun. This is about knowledge.
After the event, we will go to a local pub to discuss what we have learned, or perhaps something completely different. The social will be sponsored in part by our friends at The Sign.
For those of you that are boarders, Sanction Snowboards will attend this event as well.
