EVENT DETAILS
DRESS CODE
NO jeans, cut-off of any kind, gym shorts or jogging shorts, sweat pants, tank tops or sleeveless shirts. NO baseball or soccer style shoes with hard cleats will be permitted. Shirts are required to have a collar. Golf shoes with soft spikes only or soft soled shoes must be worn.
TEE TIMES
This is a 'Best Ball' tournament. We ask that you remain flexible so players of all levels can enjoy the tournament. We'll confirm your group and tee time a few days before the tournament. Teams will be formed based on golf skills.
GAME FORMAT
Arrive at the course at least 30 minutes before your tee time. Foursomes will play a best ball scramble format. We expect to choose teams randomly based on requested tee times and skill levels. Selected volunteers will be available to help and answer your questions on site.
RULES
Each person in the group will tee off. After the initial tee shot, the team will decide which shot is best. All members will move their ball to that location to take their second shot. This process will continue until the hole is completed. Long ball hitters have an advantage in this game, however, short game skills are necessary to post a competitive score. Since putting plays a big part in a scramble, every team member can make a contribution.
Please keep up with the pace of play and have fun! The golfers in each foursome will help the non golfers along the way.
EQUIPMENT
Clubs and walking carts are available to rent at the course for an additional fee of $5 each. Power carts are available at a per person cost of $12 if shared by 2, or $16 for a private rental. The course is very walkable, the carts are optional.
Note: You must bring your own or buy golf balls.
Rental fees are payable to Riverside on tournament day.
