XC at Arrowhead Provincial Park!
Arrowhead is a little further than Collingwood but the trails are amazing - you will ski through evergreen forests and bring your camera as there's a great chance of seeing wildlife! Bring a lunch as there is no cafeteria. There is no organized dinner for this trip, but an impromptu dinner at Hwy 7 and 400 may take place (if you are interested in eating dinner with others please park at Hwy. 7 and 400 (or make arrangements for a ride to your car)). The bus will still go back to York Mills and Merton street. Snowshoers are welcome! ($25 bus only, pay for your trail pass at the ski centre).
TRAILS: This day trip will ONLY run if there is snow and enough people sign up.
BUS TIMES: Departs from Toronto: Merton - 7:45 am, York Mills - 8:00 am, HW400/HW7 - 8:15 am. Departs ski area at 4:00 pm SHARP. Please arrive at departure area at least 10 minutes before departure time.
CANCELLATIONS: If there is space on the bus you may register until Thursday, Feb. 21st at midnight. However, please note that if you wish to cancel this registration with full refund, you must emailntscdaytrips@gmail.com by Wednesday Feb 20th at 8:00 PM. If you cancel after that time (or are "no show"), only the bus portion of the trip price ($25) will be charged. If you paid online, you will see a credit in your account, which you can apply to a future event.
If you make an online payment after Thursday, please print your confirmation and bring it to show the bus captain on ski day!
