Pickleball + Apres — SOLD OUT!

We have enabled the waitlist in the event that someone can’t make it.

Do you want to know what all the fuss is about Pickleball? Well so do we, so let's give it a try! Maybe it will leave us all dill-lighted...

What is pickleball?

"Pickleball is a sport that combines elements of tennis, ping pong, and badminton into one family-friendly game. It can be played singles or doubles on a court that looks like a tennis court but is much smaller. Instead of tennis rackets, you use paddles and a plastic ball."

Here are a few very serious educational videos:

The Schedule

6:45 pm: Meet at Malvern Collegiate, 55 Malvern Ave, Toronto, ON M4E 3E4

7:00 pm - 9:00 pm: Learn to Play clinic with Sarah and Kim

9:15 pm: Pickleball Apres @ The Kingston House, 676 Kingston Rd, Toronto, ON M4E 1R4

What to wear, bring and expect

Wear athletic clothing, stretchy breathable fabrics, maybe what you would wear to play tennis or badminton. Required: proper footwear! Athletic, running or tennis shoes should be worn. The courts are inside so no worries about the weather or temperature.

Bring a paddle if you have one! Definitely bring your water bottle. Maybe a change of clothes if you want to apres in dry gear.

Expect some physical challenge, and a whole lot of fun! There are 3 courts, 4 players on each court. Kim and Sarah will give us an approximately 1-hour lesson (with rotations of players to practice the skills taught) and then the remainder of the time will be game-play fun. After, we can head over to The Kingston House for some complimentary appetizers!

Registration will close on Friday, October 13.

Cancellation policy: $5 will be deducted from any cancellation refunds.
