Sign up for travel air trips is around the corner. Everyone is back from summer holidays. The AGM is the night before. Meet and catch up with your fellow members, share your upcoming travel plans and destinations. New or thinking of becoming a member? Come out and meet your community, and get your questions answered!
The Nitty...
Before the nights grow short and the end of summer sends us indoors, come out for NTSC's Potluck Park Party to celebrate Toronto Parks reaching the age of majority. This event will begin at 6:30 pm on Thursday, September 14 at Corktown Common to accommodate an earlier sunset.
BYO 'stuff'. Food, drink, something to share, and whatever it is you need to make yourself comfortable–packable chair, blanket, hoodie, lights, outdoor games, etc. Once you have signed up, you'll receive a link where you can record what you plan to share with fellow members so we have a nice assortment of food, drinks, etc. Please bring your own utensils, eating and drinking containers to reduce single use garbage.
You'll easily find us in Corktown Common Park, in the grassy greens found at the far east end of Front Street and lower River St., Bayview Ave.

The Gritty...
Show off your culinary skills or bring something prepared to share.
If you don't have time for the kitchen or the LCBO, opt for some local takeout within walking distance of the park, on or just off Front St. between Cherry and Bayview. You'll find a convenience store, coffee shop, Mexican, Thai, and Middle Eastern restaurants. You can also stop at the Aviary Brewery's take out fridge for a selection of frosty bevvies along the way.
Street and paid parking is available in the general area. It's also easy to reach by bicycle from several different paths. Or leave the driving to the TTC: from King Station, take the 504 King streetcar eastbound to Front & Cherry.
