Registration opens approx. 3 weeks before an event's scheduled date.  You'll receive an announcement email when an event goes live.

Ticket sales are final for all ticketed Socials events. 

To register for an event, click Back at the top left of this page.  Page down until you find the event, click either the Register or Join Waitlist button.  Events are posted in ascending date order.

Members can bring one guest to each event.

As our official fourth sport, off-hill socials play a vital role in building and supporting the culture of NTSC. All these great pubs and events don't plan themselves! 

We have two positions to fill.  Are you an event planner? Love to plan a good party? Reach out to socialsdirector@ntsc.ca to find out more about this fun committee opportunity!

Join NTSC'S 4th annual beach and paddle day @ Cherry Beach.  Enjoy a fun beachy day of sun, sand, paddling and picnicking with Toronto SUP & Kayak.   

For those joining us on the water, we will be paddling as a group.  The wind and the weather will chart our course.  We may head to Tommy Thompson Park, have a stop over at Ward's Beach for a rest or optional swim, or maybe a paddle along the north side of the island towards the pier.  .   

Introductory lessons will be provided at no additional charge for those who want them.  Guides will accompany the group for the duration of the tour to ensure that everyone is safe.

EQUIPMENT

Bring your own SUP/kayak or use the discount code, "NTSC20" to receive a 20% discount on your rental from Toronto SUP & Kayak.  A good selection of stand-up paddleboards and kayaks is available.  Rentals include all safety gear.  We recommend a three hour rental period from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm.

RENTING?  Register as soon as possible by booking your rental now.  There is a limited supply of SUPs & kayaks available.  Registering with NTSC does NOT guarantee you a rental.  SUP and Kayak rentals are available first come, first serve.  

BRING YOUR OWN GEAR?  Feel free to bring your own stand up paddle board or kayak. Because you will be joining an organized tour, you will need to sign a waiver in order to participate. You can preview and sign the waiver at Waiver.TorontoSUP.com.

SCHEDULE 

CHECK-IN: 8:00 - 9:30 AM 

Arrive early to get parking, pick up your rental package from Toronto SUP, and get yourself organized.

MEET UP: 9:30 AM

Meet at the launch site to meet your fellow NTSC paddlers. The launch site is straight down the path from Toronto SUP & Kayak.

LAUNCH: 10:00 AM

Depending on your skill level, get a lesson, paddle in the bay or join the guided paddle.  Wind and weather will determine our destination. Staff will be joining the group to provide assistance at the front, in the middle, and to sweep for anyone that is finding it harder than imagined.

RETURN: 12:00 - 1:00 PM

Picnic time at the Beach!  Bring your own spread or support the food truck on-site! 

MUST HAVES

• Life jacket/PFD (included in your rental). No exceptions! Have a look at TO Water Safety & life jackets for more information.

• Water, hat, dry bag (for electronics, etc.), whistle, sunscreen, towel, & snacks 
• Sunglasses on a strap that stay connected to you.  If you fall into the water, 99% sure you'll never see them again and we won't mount a search party. 
• Picnic blanket, picnic lunch and beverages (No BBQs allowed on the beach).
• BONUS - Toronto SUP is offering all NTSC members a 20% discount code on rentals for the duration of the summer.  Use NTSC20 when renting.

If you’re joining just for beach time — arrive at your leisure and save some space for your NTSC friends! If you plan to picnic only and would like to volunteer to save a picnic spot, please contact socials@ntsc.ca.
