Here they are, the 2018/2019 NTSC weeklong charters! The Silver Star trip will go on sale Sunday Sept 16th at 10am. The remaining trips will go on sale Saturday October 20th at 10am. This year the sign up will start with a Priority List to determine the order the spots on the trip will be offered. Successful members will then receive an email with final sign up instructions.         The Silver Star trip is sold out. You can add your name to the Priority list incase a space becomes available.

        Get an early start to your season with a trip to Silver Star December 9th to 16th $1370 (Alpine is $1680). Silver Star consistently has 100+ cm of snow by mid December. This trip offers great value, slopeside/trailside accommodation at the Chilcoot Lodge, a Dual Area Nordic Pass at Silver Star and Sovereign Lake, the option of a Nordic Super Camp (8 participants required) and an optional Alpine pass for $310. This trip will be on sale early and spots are limited so don't delay.

        Optional Nordic Supercamp:  While on the SilverStar Charter you have the option to participate in an exclusive NTSC Nordic Supercamp.This Supercamp targets intermediate to advanced Nordic skiers aiming to improve efficiency on skis. There are options for both Classic and/or Skate Skiing. Professional coaches (both CANSI and CCC accredited) will help you develop your technique, glide farther and faster, and build a solid early-season foundation. The on-snow training will take place at both SilverStar and Sovereign Lake, with the main goal to help you ski stronger, faster, and smarter. This is a unique opportunity.         Accommodation: Chilcoot Lodge Standard Room decorated in a modern Victorian theme, the Chilcoot offers tastefully decorated rooms featuring two queen beds, coffee maker, bar fridge, hair dryer and one full bathroom. Limited rooms available.

        For an additional $120 - Vance Creek Hotel – 1 Bedroom. These suites contain a full kitchen with breakfast bar and stools, living room area with queen sleeper sofa including a separate alcove bedroom with two queen beds and a full bathroom.

Big White has an abundance of intermediate runs and cruisers. For the experts the best powder is hidden between the marked trails along with lots of challenging terrain.         NTSC is visiting the Pacific North West with a trip to Mount Bachelor in the Cascade Mountain range. Bachelor is a unique place to ski and ride as the stratovolcano offers 360° skiing, extensive alpine and tree runs, natural volcanic formed half pipe gullies, plentiful dry powder and a season that extends out till May. For the Nordic skier Bachelor offers 56 km of trails weaving through the Deshutes National Forest. Enjoy the expertly groomed intermediate trails, or challenge yourself on the double diamonds with 600 foot elevation gains. We’ll be staying 30 minutes away in Bend “Beer City USA” at the Riverhouse on the Deschutes. The Riverhouse features a daily hot breakfast buffet, Welcome Reception, free WiFi, microwave, refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, private patio, Indoor and outdoor heated pools, hot tubs, fitness center, laundry facilities, on call shuttles to and from town. With 22 craft breweries Bend has the most breweries per capita in the USA! To go along with your beer Bend also offers a wide range of excellent restaurants.

      We live in and around the city and love to ski and snowboard! Established in 1960, North Toronto Ski Club is a traveling downhill/alpine, cross-country and snowboard club run by member volunteers. Our club is small enough to be open and friendly but big enough to provide all the benefits of a large ski club of 1,100 members.
