Register for Day trips and lessons

Once the season starts, ski/snowboard day trips will be available for registration below. Select a trip to see more details and register for the bus. If you're driving up, register as a driveup instead.

Lessons begin in January, are available on most trips (unless otherwise indicated) and are included in your day trip.

New process for MSLM day trips:

  • When you book a ticket with MSLM through us, you no longer have to register online through the MSLM website (unless you are driving up)!  Sign up with us for bus and lift.  That's it!
  • You will get a plastic RFID card for you to use for the remainder of the season and onwards.  It will have your name and account number on it.  Keep this card, it is $17 to replace it!
  • The rest of the year when you travel up to MSLM with the club, all you need to do is register for the trip through our site (on the bus), and the daypass will automatically be applied to your card.
  • For our next trip to MSLM, the bus captains will have information on how and where to get your RFID cards.  After the first day, it is only people who have yet to obtain a card that will have to arrange pickup with the bus captains.

If you already have a plastic RFID card, if you are using the same email address with us that you used with the current card, you can continue to use the same card.

 By Bus

If trips are full, please register for our waiting list before the registration cut-off date.  We add buses all the time, but only if we know you want to come.  Join us!

Plan your trip

Before your trip

On a day trip

  • Be at the bus at least 10 minutes early (more if you need to pay for parking).
  • Store skis/boards in a bag, placed in the luggage bins. Take your boots inside (frozen boots are hard to ski or ride in!)
  •   Place boots on the floor at your feet, not in the overhead.  Falling boots hurt! Especially if they're yours.
  • You'll receive a chit for a lift ticket, if required. Don't lose it - you'll need to exchange it when we arrive.

On Arrival

  • Stay by the bus and get your lift ticket from your bus captain. Do this early - they want to hit the slopes too.
  • Take everything that you'll need for the day. The bus is not accessible during the day.
  • Your bus captain will announce the bus number is and departure time back to Toronto. Be back on board before then!
  • Remember your bus number! Unless you like random adventures, you'll need it to find the bus later and get home.
  • Lessons begin around 10am, based on when we arrive. Look for the instructors on the snow just outside the chalet.
  • At MSLM, we are at the St. Louis base.
  • At Blue Mountain, we are at the South lodge.

Return home

    • The bus opens for loading 15-30 min before, and leaves on time.
    • Luggage bins will be marked by destination. Place your equipment in the correct bin to make unloading easier.
    • At Mount St Louis, the bus will pick up in a different area to the side of the parking lot (see map) . Stay left when you exit the chalet, towards the maintenance area, to find the bus.
    • Keep the same seat. Ask before switching seats.
    • If you are not returning on the bus, let your bus captain know.
    • If you are switching buses, talk to both bus captains first.

    Lessons & Coaching

Ski and snowboard lessons are offered on most day trips.
** Note that on Wednesday day trips, snowboard lessons will only be available if there is availability of  instructors, and therefore snowboard lessons are not guaranteed.

We want you to get the most out of your lesson, so we group students with similar ability, pace and improvement goals. What step are you?

As a snowboard student of advanced ability, you will shadow our NTSC instructors during lessons and get hands-on experience that will help you train for CASI 1 certification. NTSC has a number of successful graduates of this program who successfully passed the CASI 1 course, and are currently teaching with the club!

First check out the CASI website for more information about CASI 1 instructor course requirements, course dates/locations, and the CASI 1 Course Guide and then contact the NTSC Snowboard School, or talk with one of our snowboard instructors for more details about this NTSC program.

    STAY SAFE ON THE SLOPES

Skiing, snowboarding and other activities that take place at ski areas can involve the risk of injury or concussion - and we want to see you on a future trip! Learn your responsibilities, how you can stay safe and how to recognize a concussion.
