Alpine Ski School
For a complete overview on how ski lessons operate and other details on the snow school, please see the Overview page.
Led by Technical Director, Jeff Sinclair - CSIA Level 4 and Level 4 Course Conductor, NTSC ski instructors are some of the most trained ski pros in the Canadian Ski Instructors’ Alliance (CSIA). The team participates in regular training to keep up to date with latest technical standards, class management and guest experience knowledge.
Our ski school uses Step Levels to determine ability levels of students. The purpose is to facilitate group lessons with similar ski ability, ski pace and improvement goals - which makes those lessons the most productive and the most fun. You can track your development in your Progress Book. Your instructor will fill in the book at the end of your lesson with your goal and strategies for improvement. When you are ready for the next Step level, your instructor will make the recommendation and inform you of next steps.
During the season we offer Race Clinics and Instructor Training Clinics for members seeking CSIA certification. Please note Helmets are mandatory for gates and all terrain park/free-style clinics (scheduled to be confirmed)
